Luis Palau is speaking on the main stage.

<dc:subject>Portland CityFest, Luis Palau, Festival Day 1</dc:subject>

Luis is on the main stage speaking right now. What is it with this guy’s accent? It’s awesome!

Most people who wouldn’t otherwise give him the time of day are stopping in their tracks to try to place where in the world he must be from…

Argentina! It’s his Argentine accent ... and it’s mesmerizing.

Thousands are packed into the area surrounding the main stage, dialing in to his message. They’re packed into the areas both in the front and back of the stage. (The back has a huge jumbotron that makes you feel like you’re looking at the real thing.)

Luis Palau is sharing a message that’s for everyone. He’s speaking about the fatherless. And he’s speaking about a void we all carry. A void that will never be filled until we come to know Jesus Christ. It’s the Good News! And it’s being proclaimed boldly for all of Greater Portland to hear right now.

What is the message? What is this Good News? Find out more, right here.

The first Livin It demo launched at 2 pm on Friday.

<dc:subject>Portland CityFest, Luis Palau, Festival Day 1</dc:subject>

3, 2, 1 ... blast off!

Gotta love it when the crowd inhales simultaneously. When the “oohs” and “aaaahs” fill the air. And when the guy just nails his bike to the ramp after free-flying it.

The Livin It action sports area is packed with people pleasantly baking in the sunshine and taking in the jaw-dropping stunts of skate, BMX, and FMX athletes.

This stuff is awesome!

And - are you kidding me? - Kyle Loza, 2-time, back-to-back X-Games gold medal winner performing here for FREE? This tops the Dew Tour any day. We get to be outside, and we get these incredile athtletes just chillin with their gasp-inducing stunts. Love it.

Good thing they have another show going on right now, and 2 more on Saturday.

The best part? IT’S ALL FREE!!
